Periodic Maintenance & Service

The same as any petrol or diesel vehicle, it is important you have your EV vehicle serviced at regular intervals.

Ensure your EV vehicle is safe for the journey ahead

At NexDrive, we advise that you have a periodic inspection service for your EV vehicle at the recommended times stated by your vehicle manufacturer in the owner's handbook. If you are unable to locate when your vehicle is due a service contact a NexDrive workshop today who will be able to assist you. 

Checkpoints

Are you curious about which points are checked during the periodic inspection service? They are outlined in the list below:

  • Standard visual inspection in and around the car

  • Checking the condition of the tyres

  • Testing, cleaning and measuring the brakes (brake pads and discs)

  • Checking the air conditioning and exhaust temperature

  • Checking all lighting

  • Top up with windscreen washer fluid

  • Check other fluids (coolant, differential, etc.)

  • 12-volt battery test, results are printed

  • Reading and remedying any malfunction codes
